Privacy Policy for Poppertap

This Privacy Policy explains how Poppertap (the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Poppertap does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any information that directly identifies you.

We collect limited, anonymous data:

• Usage and gameplay data — events such as game starts, game-over events, scores, session length, and which screens are viewed. This helps us understand how the game is played and improve it.
• Anonymous identifiers — a random, app-generated identifier stored on your device, plus standard device/app information (such as app version and operating system). This identifier is not your name and is not linked to your real-world identity.

Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain data, including device identifiers, advertising data, approximate location, and diagnostics. By default we show non-personalized ads; personalized (interest-based) ads are shown only if you grant tracking permission on your device.

Analytics

We use anonymous analytics (stored via Supabase) to keep the usage data described above. This data is aggregated to improve gameplay and is not used to identify you.

How We Use Data

• To operate, maintain and improve the App.
• To understand gameplay and fix issues.
• To display advertising.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Anonymous data may be processed by our service providers — Google AdMob (advertising) and Supabase (analytics storage) — solely to provide the services above.

Your Choices

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (and Apple Advertising) to limit ad tracking.
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads to reset or opt out of ad personalization.
• You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Retention & Security

We retain anonymous usage data only as long as needed for the purposes above and take reasonable measures to protect it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
